The first super car printed in 3D

The company Divergent Microfactories has designed a sports car in 3D printing, which is the Blade. This car weighs 635 kg, incorporates a bi-fuel engine using gasoline and can go from 0 to 100 km in 2 seconds. The use of 3D printing makes great manufacturing savings over a conventional car and reduces the environmental impact of car design.

Divergent’s technology is aimed primarily at car manufacturers but is also considering applying it in the naval or aeronautical industry. Divergent hopes to revolutionize automobile production by democratizing and dematerializing it.
